For MiDiS, internationalisation takes the form of exchanges of students and researchers, membership in international networks, cooperation agreements with foreign universities, and international partnership projects.

At the same time, MiDiS aims to establish new agreements and expand existing ones with Italian research institutes and universities, with the aim of contributing to the competitiveness of the Italian research system in the field of migration.

These exchanges and collaborations should not only enhance the competitiveness of MiDiS and UPO as a whole, but also foster innovation, understood as a transformative process capable of contributing to the development of new responses to the challenges facing contemporary societies.
